Good morning all

Hope you have a good day - sun is shining here in Silistra but quite chilly. This is the first Sept I have know to be cold we always take our holidays in Sept or Oct and it is usually very hot here. Maybe I have climatised now

afternoon Oddy....the weather in Bg has certainly changed over the last few years...but then I expect it has everywhere
we even had the C/H on the last two nights it was soo cold wet and miserable.nice again today tho

Yes, same here VG fire on seems like we have to sweep the chimney now.

Nice here in VT today, with a coldish start in the morning to a cool time in the evening. Makes me wonder how much firewood we will burn this Winter. 16 cubics is my estimate for a hefty 33Kw wood burner for the house and an eight Kw pechka in our large kitchen. Ecco logs are handy as well and burn easily and hotter than wood haven't located any coal yet, so I don't know the price of using coal.

Just want to say today is Pension Day. [size=150:emigsfqb] So Happy Pension Day to everyone We have been invited to the local commnity hall in the next village to celebrate the day with everyone. Not sure what to epect just now and not even sure they will let me in as I am not a pensionor but Dougie is

I am sure you had a good time Berni - a borrowed Zimmer frame would have sufficed I am sure, plenty of walking sticks and frames in our village!!

Today is very dull and overcast had a ittle rain this morning but all cleared up now. they said tomorrow will be rain. Enjoy your day

Ah diddles Think i am ok now. We found a lovely little bar/eatiing place in the next village yesterday, not that we drink but it would be nice to go a fw mile doen the road rather than travelling a 40km round trip. So might go there tonight meet the locals

Hi Guys

Not so good here today weather is dull and raining on and off. I have picked up a chill been cold and shivers down my back so now I am well wrapped up and the is fire on and not moving off the sofa. Will nip it in the bud before it gets hold.
