Mother nature can be very unpredictable.... when that west wind blows!!!! but looking really good, will you get bothered by 'beasties' when dining outside...? tried all sorts of fly/wasp traps, in the end I screen netted our outside room so sit in a fly free environment.... Bill |

Bill Dougie is making the flynets for all around the sides and I thought I would buy those magnet door nets sew them all together so we have at least three openings all along the front. I want the front opening to be clear of wood etc so the magnet door nets sewn together should do the trick and can be opened in three places not just the middle, but I will test it first. As for the wind yes you re right and will probably get a little cooler in the evening so he is making/testing the roll down plastic blinds with clips on, again will see how that works out... If all fails then will frame in the same as the balcony and can take away when not needed. All trial and error but keeps us busy He has just worked out how to do the finishinig of the edges looking forward to seeing that now. Photos when done

| Well now at last the gazebo construction is finsihed yepeeeeeeeeeeee Still have to paint the ceiling bar brown as it is visible then finish making the fly nets. We have come a very long way to get here almost two years down the line and we did it. So very pleased will set up next week ready for spending time out there. The gable ends look really nice well done to Dougie.. I have put stones all around the small patio and look at the unique little bench and table I made up. We put to the hammock and now going to work on sorting the ground around there then use the fake grass..... I don't know when we will get round to doing the cementing but all in due course. | It looks terrific Berni, you two should be proud of yourselves. That is a lot of work you did in a fairly short time. Not and easy feat! |

Thanks hun, when the weather is more stable will do the concrete path. Funny I was speaking to my friend last night and she said 'we have been friends for over 30 years since our children were little and I have never see you plant a flower or have anything to do with the garden before, the mere thought of you putting your hands in soil or even eathing anything that came out of the ground was a complete nightmare for you, if you saw an insect you would run a mile and look at you now! jack of all trades gardening building and so on. Bulgaria life suit you well done!' Well that says it all./ |
