| I blame the British government and its rich industrial backers who want cheap labour, and their source is through illegal immigration. The government get millions paid into their coffers from these rich industrialists and will not go against their wishes. The people of this country do not want migrants, we have enough of them filling our schools , housing and hospitals....we say get rid of every illegal immigrant in the country.....but this government could not care less about what the people want, its what its big money backers want. If you want proof of my assertions then google the number of large companies who have been fined for using illegal immigrants. This is no longer a democracy....it is now a dictatorship, run by Tory Gangsters. |

| At least Bulgaria is doing something, which is more than any other EU country, including Britain, and it's useless, Europhile PM Dozy Dave. Why are Greece and Italy welcoming them with open arms and why is Britain giving them £27,300 a year when they get here, after assisting people traffickers, by picking them up in the middle of the Med. Why aren't these young men staying and fighting for their countries, instead of leaving their families to fend for themselves in the 'mayhem' they have left behind, instead of going to the UK for a free ride. The Rich Looove the EU because they get CHEAP labour for nannies, maids, drivers, car-washers, cleaners, housekeepers, dog-walkers, painters, decorators and tradesmen of all kinds. When are we going to start importing effective public-sector workers like Bulgarian Border Police chief Ivan Stoyanov who is clearly far more Use to "ordinary" voters than our cosseted government workers / politicians who are just sitting back twiddling their thumbs - Doing Nowt ! - except waiting for their gold-plated pensions. The UK and France should have razor wire in Dover and Calais as well, and I really thought that is what Cameron meant when he said new fencing, but they got Chain Link, designed to keep chickens and small livestock from wandering off, but that is part of the problem when those who rule us are not of the real world and don't know anything |

| We had a perfect security border, The English Channel.....so what do we do???? Build a BL**DY tunnel over to France. We may as well have given out free passports and relocation money at the same time!!! Seriously, this country has let its people down again and again over the last 70 years. Winston Churchill will spinning in his grave!!! We need to take back control of our borders, so we can start to feel secure again. |

| No doubt they can't build fence like in Bulgaria is probably down to the health and safety zealots, I mean god forbid anyone injured themselves trying to enter illegally. Mind if they did they would probably be able to launch a claim for any injuries, I know you couldn't make it up will someone give our politicians some balls. |

| I reckon the UK and some of the other EU states who are having problems with illegals, just need to make it perfectly clear that ANYONE migrating to their country (legally or otherwise), will only be able to claim welfare or social benefits equal to, but not exceeding what they can claim in their own country.
As most of you know, I am an Australian born citizen...I came here with my eyes wide open and manage to make do. Even though it cost me many thousands of Leva to finally gain residency, even though I have a Bulgarian wife and Bulgarian children, I am not permitted to work, I am not permitted to access the health system, nor am I permitted to even consider any sort of welfare support.
I'm not complaining, I'm not crying ''poor bugger me"...that's just the way it is.
I probably should have added this....because I live outside of OZ, I have NO access or entitlement to the age pension, or the medical system (similar to NHS) or any type of tax relief. Matter of fact, they believe I should be paying tax on my service pension...which is just under 100 pounds per week and is my ONLY source of income.
Still not whinging!!! |

| Not quite sure if the title of the topic should be re-named to ''Keeping unwanted migrants out of Bulgaria''
Think about it! |

| Yes [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] you are right but I think the poster [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] was maybe making a comparison with Bulgaria and the uk , It seems that Bulgaria know what they are doing in this case which is a first and David Camerooon still hasn't got a clue |

| A fence is all well and good and will certainly keep illegal migrants out, especially in the winter when that part of the country hits 30 below. It is unacceptable that foreigners should have the temerity to even attempt to leave famine, war and pestilence for a better life. Edited by Admin [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Please do not post in this way some of what you posted here could be quite offensive to other members. We as a forum do not differentiate between race and colour neither do we endorse any kind of threat or violence. and we certainly don't disrespect any religion on the open forum no matter what our own thoughts might be |

| What kind of a person are you ? [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to say this!!! to murder someone who is trying to escape death make you no better than the perpetrators, and why should they just die? I'm sorry but I totally disagree with you and this sort of talk doesn't belong in this thread or on this forum you can not simply come along here and condemn someone just because they are not white? Sorry if you don't like my reply but I find you response here very distasteful |

| Hopefully it wasn't my suggestion of keeping illegal migrants out of BG that started this latest round of thought provoking posts. But my original take on this was it being written by Brits (migrants) in BG on a mainly english speaking forum. |

| Here's how it is - you're a householder, you have a burglar alarm that's not very efficient, it detects some people attempting to break in but by no means all. You find someone in your living room who has broken in. For simplicity's sake let's call the intruder a him. You call the police and when they come they tell you that it is possible that he has good grounds for breaking in. Whilst they investigate it is your responsibility to let him stay in the house, make him comfortable, feed him and give him pocket money for 'necessities'. If he wants to go out you can't stop him coming back. Months/years later you are told that he is not allowed to stay in your house but cannot be evicted because he's appealed. A court then rules that he has lived in your house for so long he has acquired human rights in it! Then you give up and move to another European country where you can avail yourself of similar treatment by our members of our European relatives (we are a family!) |
