Hi Mike

Great to hear from you again.

Wheels for the old wagon are not that hard to find...in my experience, most people who change over to car wheels tend to bung the original ones up in the rafters, or on the back wall of the barn. In my case, it's the titchy size which might be a problem...although I can make a complete replacement, as long as I have an original to copy.

Looking forward to seeing you both again...the open invitation for an overnight stay still stands.

What a fab day here again today there is a lovely wind that will keep us cool.

Today we will (if one of us survives) try to level out the patio for the gazebo build. Problem is I have my ideas and his hiness has his and of course he does not listen - So let the war begin.....

Today is not such a good day for us here in the village last night as we lost two people. On man who lived on his own all his family passed a few years agao, he was opnly 50 years old He died of phominia. Another lovely woman only 47 died on her own as she swallowed her tongue in a aplitic fit. May they both R.I.P  Very common and easily treatable conditions yet they died, Beginning to feel like we are living in the dark ages

Very sad news, and I am afraid pretty common in remote villages, Probably down to the response times and emergency services trying to locate you? the below should help, although I appreciate a lot of the older Bulgarian generation are not on internet, if like us you look out for those villagers and you have internet, you may be able to assist?

A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH

I think most of us know that to get Emergency Services the National Number is 112 (have heard that if you dial 999 it automatically transfers) But as some of us live in remote locations it can be difficult for them to locate us. It appears that IF you know your GPS location and can pass that to the emergency team and it will cut down the response time in getting to you. So the below link will enable you to find your location Might be an idea to find your co-ordinates and write them down somewhere

 Bill I did not have these numbers and the GPS is great I found us in the village we were lost  

I have a property in Sliven in Ovcharska st Zhelju Volvoda SLIVEN
Овчарска ст Желйу Волвода СЛИВЕН  but for the life of me I cannot find it someone went to look for it but again could not find it.  I might have to plan a trip down there one of these days.  The property is in need of big repairs but they send me tax bills every so often I paid 389lev in 2014 and again this year in May paid 290lev. The annoying thing is the tax itself danock is around say 40lev the rest is intrest daily and I have asked them to send me the bill when it is due but they leave it and leave it and of course the bank will not make a payment until you have the bill.  I am hoping I GOT it under control this year as paid 2016 too and now have their bank details and requested again they send me the yearly amount, before it gets charges on.  i have a contact now so we will see how it goes.  Wish I could just get rid of this property

I suspect the Village is called= Zhelju Volvoda your street is = Ovcharska st see below map and see if it makes sense
