does this have any validity in Bulgaria

To wire a new house to the mains or a do complete rewire in bulgaria by the book you need a electition with bulgarian qulifacations who is regeisterd with the electric supplier usualy e-on,there the only persons that can inspect and sign off a job beware uk qulifacations can cause problems getting the staged certificates known as the acts 16 15 14 etc also house insurance will be invalid if the electrics are not bulgarian certified, uk qulifacations dont count in bulgaria when it comes to the paper work, for adding to existing circuits and minor works you dont need a certificate but anything going to/from the mains and new builds/full rewires must be inspected and certified by a bulgarian qualified person

i would also add if your doing renovations learn the bulgarian building regs
and talk to people with experiance in bulgarian building projects

I Have no idea if the Bulgarian Electrical Industry complies with Cenelec. I would also need to know if any Electrical Contractor has public Liability Insurance. As most Village homes are wired to a TNC System then anyone working on BG homes would need experience of working with this system rather than in the UK which mostly uses a TN System. Good luck if you are going for BG registration.

, all UK electricians are qualifed in all types of electrical installations, this includes TNC, PME, TNCS and TT, you'll also find that Bulgaria is a member of the EU and my qualifications are good here, if you are happy to let a bulgarian wire your home then please do, all I've asked is that you check there are qualifed. A friend of mine's house burned to the ground only 8 weeks ago, due to faulty electrics, installed by a fool. There are to many people claiming to know what they are doing. I'm not here to get into a debate with people. Just to give advice and maybe some work.

I don't think anyone is claiming to be anything they aren't here but just offering friendly advice. As for you qualifications being recognised her that is something I didn't know and I'm quite surprised to learn that so thank you.

Can you tell me are you fully registered in Bulgaria with the relevant authorities.

hi i have just renovated my kitchen and would like to put an english fuse box in wich i have at my house ready to go in with all fuses could you send me a qoute for installing because i dont like electrics and niether do i like bulgarian fuse boxes and connect my new cooker to the said fuse box cables already installed just need connecting thanks
