First topic message reminder :

Hi all,
Well after almost 7 years of travelling back and fro we eventually arrived to stay 3 weeks ago. We drove here via Belgium,Holland,Germany,Austria,Italy &
Greece with our 6 year old Labrador. It was a fantastic trip and one thing that really impressed us was that the dog was made welcome in all the hotels and restaurants we stopped at, it tells you something about the nanny state we left behind in the UK .

We are settling in but have been busy in the garden trying to see if we really can live the good life here :Cool3:time will tell.
Now we are here I hope to be able to make a greater contribution to the forum than before, I would also like to thank everyone for the valuable information that is available on this site.

Without the personal experiences and local knowledge a great deal of time and money could have been lost or wasted.
