| How did you get on with your quest?
I haven't had time to have a good search, but I'm very interested to see how you got on. |

| Sofia is the only game in town. Very frustrating since Plovdiv airport is only half an hour from me. Hopefully some enterprising Bulgarian will see a market opening there. Apart from Ryanair three times a week (for which I am very grateful to Michael O'Leary) there is virtually no traffic in or out. Lots of free slots for folks learnibg to fly. |

| I'm in the same boat...probably closer to Plovdiv airport than you, but no action. I see heaps of microlights, ultralights and light aircraft flying over my house on weekends, but I've never checked out where they come from or fly to. I know there are many old military airfields in our local region (yours and mine), but apart from one which is home to a company which develops and builds a very good gyrocopter for the open market, I have no leads on any who run a flying school (in the true sense of the word). Because we are so close to each other, why don't we get together and share some thoughts. PM me so we don't bore the pants off the unenlightened. |

| Hi Bazz,
I'm trying to send you a PM but am unsure how to do this? While I'm here, do you have the address of the Traffic Dept in Plovdiv? Thanks. |

| To send me a PM, just click on my user name and follow the prompts. Click the ' contact' link at the top right. If you mean the KAT office...follow Vasil Aprilov out of town towards Sofia...just after the last set of traaffic lights (large Kamenitza depot in that intersection) follow the traffic going left onto Napredak St....Kat will be on your right, about 500 meters along. |

| Hi Bazz,
My two weeks in the UK has turned into two months. Been sorting out probate on my late father's estate, dealing with useless estate agents and dead slow lawyers. Thanks for the link, I'll send them an email and get back to you when I'm out of Brexit Britain. Ciao Julian |
