Good morning all

The sun is shining here in Silsitra, sitting here waiting for the internet engineer hopefully he will tell us he can it the internet and at BG prices.

Yesterday we went to the village Kelipetrovo and handed out all the 18 boxes of good we brought from UK everyone was so pleased. Once I have iinternet i can upload the photobucket again. Fingers cross

 Good monring all bit cloudy here in Silistra but still warm.  We are off to Lidi today to buy some woodstain for the floor in the community hall  it is looking good now with the recovered chairs and new tables Dougie made. We spend hours and hours washing and cleaning the parquet floors but to no avail  It is too old and damaged and need sanding and a long course of special treatment to revive so we all decided on woodstain.  We will paint it tomorrow.  pictures are on my own facebook Bernadette Leggett

hi Bernie,
your floor just needs no1 Johnson wax formula which might be available from a builders yard in the town, it is a polish stripper, and it works and used it all the time when I ran a cleaning business in the 80's/90's.
then to finish you use No2 Johnson wax after mopping the floor then No3 which is a sealer, there are other companies that make this stuff, like Henkle if you have a problem, look for a office cleaning co with an English or German name.
if the floor is not sanded and this stuff is on the floor it will lift the stain.
remember I am over next week if I can help I will you know I will.

Good morning all. Yepeee got the pc sorted all it actually needed was to disconnect the router and it started back up again. Thanks Bill for advice.

Today we go to the hall again finish the tables and clean up the floor ready for the lac stuff we bought yesterday. I would have loved to wax the floor Paddy I tried everywhere in Silistra for the wax but could not find it although I found one tub in the boxes it will not be enough. The neighbors did not know what wax was never seen it before they varnish all the wood which is a shame when it could be waxed and polished. There is an old trunk in the hall must be at least 60+ years and they are talking about varnishing it so I got the wax and spent ages putting in on bit bit then buffing it looks fantastic now and they can see the result from the wax.

Beautiful morning here in Silistra today we are just lazing about no work We hve been working for days in the community hall and last night we went to Tutrakan July monring rock concert did not get home until 2.45am. Great evening.

Morning all

Fab weather this morning, we went to the community hall to do another coat on the floor as the wood just soaked in the first two, hopefully this one will look a bit better when dry.

Now it is cloudy outside but stil lery hot  Ginka tells me we will have rain.  This afternoon we are gong to a village about 10kms from us meet another USA or  Australian family living there.  From their mesagers they seem to have lied here a while.
