| Hi Guys We will be taking a weeks break to Furterventura this month and will be flying from Stansted Airport. Parking seems to be quite expensive there however, there is a meet and greet which is coming up considerably cheaper than anywhere else which of course is great But my question is why? I am rather suspicious of this. They meet you outside the airport and you hand over your car and away they go I assume they give you a receipt, but what if they do not turn up or they are late, or worse they run off with my little Matiz Oh no panic stations (yes I know it is a dinky toy but I love her and want to see her on my return, : : (I have to have a bit of drama sometimes ) Has anyone used meet and greet and if so what was your experience please. | Hi, I sell airport parking through my on-line business and if it seems expensive compared to other times you have booked it may be that it's only a month away, like cheap flights you get the best deals booking early. If this 'meet and greet' you are being offered is via an established company then go for it. Just look into it and see if you know via the website where your car will be stored as there have been a few instances of this service being offered by people with a bit of space to make a few quid. ie, is it secure, not just stuck in a barn or on someones driveway.
On a lighter note, just hang around the airport carpark until someone else with a Matiz turns up, share a space and get a 2 for 1 deal! |

| Hi Guys I am back from our all inclusive weeks holiday in Furtventura and it was brilliant - nearly got blown away a few times but managed to get a fab tan walking around It was great no tv, no internet, no work just eating, walking and sleeping and feeding the chipmunks. We took one or two trip on land and sea. So please we could not get on the cruise originally planned, as I really have no sea legs. The meet and greet at Stansted Airport were fantastic no worries what so every - will definitely do that again. Hope you did no miss me too much Oddy |
