Sofia is almost 8 hours from Silistra did it once on the coach never again. We used Ryanair from London Stansted to Bucharest this year and it was the best flight ever.

Ah little beggers eh. Forward it to customer service at wizz air they will confirm.

For those of us living in the VT area, Gorna Oryhovitsa airport is scheduled to be put into action next year. Ryanair have already flown a trial into the airport and we 20% of all the Brits in BG that live in the VT area will be well pleased if this all "gets off the ground next year." Gorna is only 25 mins from VT and it will be a much quicker way to get home.

VT is slap in the middle of BG and the distance between Sofia to VT and Varna to VT is only 2 K's difference. So at the moment a 3 hour coach either way is our only way to get to an airport.

Okay so far this morning we've had total chaos at check in with abusive Bulgarians having a go at agents, bedlam at security which equals MISSED FLIGHT!!!!!! NOT HP! Waiting for "assistance" to come fetch us back out to start again! ""




9 lots missed flight to Bg because of this
must have been bad as there were only 2 flight out up to 6am ..both to Bulgaria 5.30 am ...and 5.50 am

Oh dear not good!!! Who will be held responsiable the abusive Bulgarians, the agent or Wizz Air. We wait to see

Just booked for October visit on Wizzair to Varna, £51.98 return. Even I can get out of bed for the 5.30am flight at that price. On the positive side it does allow us to be in our villa by mid-day providing air traffic controllers in France don't keep us sitting in the airplane at Luton for over two hours
