Rosa the village stray has turned up today with 6 pups - We have been expecting her everyday but this time we are not going to feed them.  Pup, the other village stray Rosa's daughter also had a litter so no doubt she will turn up too.  Last year between them they had 13 pups. It was a nightmare for us as somehow this became our problem and we don't even have dogs. But this year I have informed the nieghbours we will not be feeding them and will have nothing to do with them also told the Mayor so hopefully he will deal with the situation.  
So far we are doing well, we did not go outside the gate to see the pups yet. Rosa was there for about an hour then she gave up and went away. It is killing Dougie but I have warned him to keep away, so far so good We feed three strays already and Nipper believes he belongs to us now.....
