I have been studying various forums of late and have read with interest many comments and postings about the Fores and Against of living in various different countries, so I have decided to do a poll which I hope will be well supported. How ever you answer could you please give your reasons why, but its not essential it will just help others understand the poll better.

Hi i have voted that we are very happy and would not go back to GB we would not want to live in England again.
We have a very good standard of living in Bulgaria. We are healthier since moving here and we just love it here.
We don't know why any one would want to live in England. People have to work and i guess that could be a reason for returning but work can be found here other people say they are going back because of health but then we have very good medical and surgical facilities here so as we are happy and have been for years here in Bulgaria is home

I voted No1, but in the light of other posts on this and other BG forums I think if it does happen then careful consideration will have to be given into the location of the property and it's neighbours.

As everyone must know, over the years we have lived in Bulgaria we have loved life here. However, I should add that we never considered leaving England because we disliked life there. We are now deciding to leave for the following reasons.

1. Bulgaria seems to be going backwards not forwards. EU money is not going where it should and villages are still stagnating with only cosmetic advances being made. Corruption and lack of law still a big problem everywhere from top to bottom.

2. No problems with healthcare because the doctors saved my Hero's life. However, it is a factor because of the aftercare and difficulties understanding exactly what is going on. This obviously depends on where you live.

3. As I am aging I feel the need to be nearer family and share all the things I used to love but sacrificed to live abroad like theatre and seeing my daughter's first nights.

Lastly, I have to mention other expats who have succeeded in making our lives a misery over the last few years.

What I will miss:
My lovely home and our wonderful Bulgarian friends and neighbours and the weather. Not enough to keep me here though.

I agree with all of that, especially being a victim of an expats disgusting behavior over the last few years myself
