British citizen stabbed in Bulgarian village
A British citizen was treated for injuries in hospital after being stabbed in an incident in the village of Izvorovo near Stara Zagora on December 23 2009.
Bulgarian news agency Focus, quoting local police, said that the alleged perpetrator, a 44-year-old man, had stabbed the woman in the hip. The woman was given outpatient treatment.
Police investigations were continuing.
