i have always used bottled water in bulgaria, having taken the filters off the taps and seen what comes through it was a good decision.

i invested in a water filter jug and dispensed with the bottled water, but today, the water in the filter has turned green just like the pool does if you dont keep up with the chemicals, i am horrified at the green algae in the filter jug and even worse we have been drinking this, has anyone else had this problem and what do you do about it. i bleached the water jug and it produced bubbles just like the pool did, what is wrong with the water in bulgaria.

I've bought a water testing kit and will collect it when next in the UK. We drink tap water so it will be interesting to see the results.
Also bought one for the well water, which our animals drink. Perhaps it's better!

Since the bad weather our water has also been green,the water company told us it was the plumbing/ water pipes in the house,
Try again i said,they have all been changed to PVC.

The water company later dug up the road outside our house and changed the old pipes ..5 days work and without water for what.? It is still green ..ARGH .. I don't believe it!

It all sounds pretty disgusting, but look on the bright side, when it all freezes in the water you can use the water from the well in the garden. Come to think of it, that sounds disgusting as well.
