Over 113 000 crossed the border between Bulgaria and Greece for Christmas

More than 113 thousand people and 25 thousand vehicles have passed through the border checkpoints between Bulgaria and Greece during the Christmas weekend, announced the director of Border Police Directorate General in Smolyan Todor Georgiev. He explained that the figure is 20% higher than last year’s. About 60% of visitors are Greek and Bulgarian nationals. On New Year’s Eve again border authorities expect a higher flow of people travelling in both directions.

Thats quite a lot and only that boarder so things are getting better with a 20% increase
