Kids Earn Pocket Money By Pushing Dope
Drug dealers recruit kids to sell their stuff, anti-drugs cops say
More and more Bulgarian kids agree to become drug dealers to get extra pocket money, anti-mafia officers said. Drug kingpins recruit teenagers and minors to push their stuff on their mates, because they still aren't fully amenable to the law. The little drug-dealers make between 50 and 100 levs a day. Most of them have been recruited by the drug lords by means of generous gifts and tempting promises.
"
Try my cigarette and you will never seek other stuff,"
teenage drug dealers offer their classmates. They have been given a mobile phone with a prepaid SIM card to arrange the delivery once the client is hooked. Once hooked up, few of the young drug dealers could return to normal life later. Worried parents prod the security guards at the schools and the anti-mafia policemen to prevent this devastating invasion.
