- under Article 15, Paragraph 1 of the Foreigners in the Republic of Bulgaria Act – EUR 100

In case the airport transit, transit or short-stay visa application is submitted in the last 3 working days preceding the date of the proposed trip, the charge shall be double.

The above visa application processing charges shall be collected in the amounts indicated in Tariff No. 3 of the charges to be collected for consular services in the system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs pursuant to the Stamp Duty Act, unless otherwise provided for by an international treaty or by an EU legal instrument.

Pursuant to the agreements between the European Community and Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Russia, and the Ukraine, the visa application processing charge shall be EUR 35 for citizens of those countries.

Foreign citizens who, on the date when the visa application is submitted, fall within the categories of individuals included in Article 6 of the agreements between the European Community and Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Russia, and the Ukraine, shall be exempted from paying the charges.

VISA APPLICATION PROCESSING CHARGES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE IN CASE OF REFUSAL.
