I know we have just got over the last one s

But if you have log burners of any sort now is the time to get your logs. The price is a lot cheaper now than during the winter plus the wood people are only too happy to deliver as there is no demand from the Bulgarians g

Wow! :Rolling eyes:

Last year we paid 35 leva per cube ... that was delivered, chopped and stacked neatly in our log store (plus a good sweeping of the yard afterwards).

Blink.. every thing is cheaper to buy inland.........the coastal area is renouned for being more expensive for "
most "
things in Bulgaria......Varna area itself ,is one of the dearest from that catogary.....
when i went to Ruse last year ..which i loved , food and drink in a good resturant was a two third of the price which i would have paid in Varna for the same standard....and in VT Half the price !
sorry mod ..going off topic

dont do wood, the first year nearly killed us, smoke filled the house, sometimes it would not go or next it was a furnace, now use a combination of gas, electric and oil and to be honest it is no dearer than wood, which i think is rather expensive as it could not provide heat to all of the rooms unless u have a radiation system. wood free we are and will remain that too. s

Chech was only saying this the other day, so we are going pricing up in our area in the next week or so. Depresses me even thinking about the next winter, but hate being cold so logs it is!!
