[size=150:snz8glyf]Wizz Air reports 23% increase in passenger traffic in 2010
Hungarian budget carrier Wizz Air ferried 9.6 million passengers in 2010, which amounts to a 23 per cent increase in traffic on the previous year, Bulgarian media reported on January 7 2011.
The carrier operates 13 routes to and from Sofia, which, in turn, have seen a 34 per cent rise in the number of passengers, reaching about 735 000 people, the report said.
Wizz Air foresees opening new lines to Lithuania and Serbia starting in April 2011.
Currently, the company Wizz Air operates 34 Airbus A320 planes from 12 bases in Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine and the Czech Republic, to which the new bases in Belgrade and Vilnius, will be added.
The company employs 115 people directly in Bulgaria, and about 700 other people indirectly, the report said

| Good for you Willow - you did fantastic! I have to work around my job they finally agree to let me have the Easter hols but not the flights have scored. Looking at end of Sept or 1st Oct for our Garden Party this year will see what flights are like now for then. I noticed on Wizzair you have to pay by bank transfer - so is there a charge for that too - This would eliminate the charge for using your debit card. Is there a catch Oddy |

Is there a catch Oddy Just tried the booking but it kicked me out, I got all the way through the the payment. Have some question below: * If you pay by bank transfer, what are the bank charges??? * Are you still allowed to take the 10kg hand baggage? * How do you know how much luggage you can take is still 25kg or did I read it was more - when I went through the booking procedure, in it asked how many bags. I put in one for each of us and a costing of £26 per bag. * Also also if you do not click web check in there is an additional amount charged Thanks Oddy |
