Last year we went to Balchik for 4 days but to be honest we did not like Balchik very much it is all hills and for too busy for us, so we stay one night then moved on to Kamchia a little place outside of Varna. We found a lovely little family run hotel The White House in Bilansi, It is not your tourioust area just nice and peaceful has what you need in the hotel. lovely food, pool, apartment was nice and clean and very spacious it could do with a bit of updating with furniture etc but other than that it was really nice. We would go back there again. Rusan the owner, speaks English and is always about. Might spend afew days there this year.
