| I think Brian as time goes by we learn more and more and as humans we are inquisitive and we always want to know what the truth is so some of us will always come up with ideas some good some bad but I never dismiss anything until we hear the facts although I will debate it. |

| You would think that with technology we have available, far more would be done in terms of tracking aircraft in general. I'm not trying to trivialise how difficult finding it is - the ocean and search area are vast. But precisely because of that you would imagine there was far more monitoring going on, things being logged etc. It's worrying that pilots have the ability to turn off systems which facilitate with this. Surely it's time airlines and manufacturers showed responsibility by adding features to aircraft which couldn't be over-riden so easily? If an aircraft just "disappears" off radar etc then surely the best time to start trying to track it is immediately.

| Whilst some of the comments are a reasonable guess, don't forget it is not just one or two missing flights. Since 1948 there have been over a 100 flights with a total of more than 1600 passengers that are still listed as missing, never even a trace being found and still they do nothing to prevent it. |

| U.S. spy satellites saw exactly where and how this flight ended. |

Let us all in on the secret. Is this your own thoughts or do you know something we don't |

| Diego Garcia is closer to the airplanes location where it went missing, than the search zone south-west of Australia is. If the searchers believe it can get that far south, then it definitely could have reached Diego Garcia! Diego Garcia is a British Island south of India on the edge of the Indian Ocean (where the aircraft is presumed missing) and has a (not so very) secret US airbase there that has been accused of transporting terror suspects to this location for CIA torture to avoid US laws on torture. It should also be noted that Diego Garcia is purely an airbase and there are no islanders at this location, however there are islands close by that do house islanders and these people DID report witnessing a low flying passenger plane that was unusual for that region. It was reported by Sky News and BBC News but was quickly discounted 24 hours later by the Malaysian Government who had reportedly investigated local fisherman reports of a sighting and dismissed it. |

| There are lots of reasons why this conspiracy doesn't add up - The US military would have given them warnings on the radio warning them to leave their airspace and after the verbal warning fighters would be scrambled to give a visual warning and shooting down would be the last option. These pilots are professionals they know there come times when there is a risk of a military shooting them down and there will be a procedure they are trained to follow. They would certainly have been on the radio to their people see if they can try defuse things. If they had shot down the plane the US government would have come clean, all they needed to do was say we believe the plane was hijacked, we gave warnings but they were not listened to so it was our sad duty to shoot it down. If the plane was shot down there would have been debris floating over a wide area but non was found. |

| No wreckage has been 'found' because the search was directed thousands of miles in the wrong direction while those responsible cleared up their mess near Diego Garcia! |

| Iran Air Flight 655 was an Iran Air civilian passenger flight from Tehran to Dubai. On 3 July 1988, the aircraft operating this route was shot down by the United States Navy guided missile cruiser USS Vincennes. This is an undisputed fact that everyone agrees happened including the USA. As for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, the jury is still out as no evidence has been shown BUT it is a fact that no one is allowed anywhere near Diego Garcia including its lawful residents the Chargossians. They were excised (forcibly removed) by Britain in 1968 before the islands were leased to the USA. Draw your own conclusions ?

| Good point Scott and something worth thinking about?
It seems that the Aircraft wing flap found off the coast of Tanzania in 2014 IS from is from MH370 according to the australian transport authority. its a shame really that Malaysia didnt respond appropriately to an aircraft which had become unresponsive and had deviated drastically from its flight path. it should have been treated as a potential terror threat and the air force should have been deployed to investigate. why this didnt happen I am not sure has been fully addressed but it certainly would have saved the Malaysian government and Australia millions of pounds if they had. The very fact that they were happy to let it leave their airspace without any understanding of why it had gone silent is nothing short of suspicious-also the absolute deafening silence from the U.S I'm also wondering why hundreds of pieces of debris didnt wash up at the same time as the "flaperon"? why was this one piece unique and where is the rest of the inevitable debris. it is a scientific impossibility that mh370 landed whole and intact on the ocean. it would have been torn apart quickly and debris would be abundant...so where is the rest of it? |

| Very slowly, the clues are piling up. All these pieces that keep washing ashore could eventually help to build a picture of the plane's final moments. A number of other pieces of debris, some confirmed to have come from MH370, have been found in recent months near the coast of  Mozambique and Madagascar. Question why does it take 2 years to identify a piece of aircraft????? |

| Search for MH370 to end this month
The search for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 will come to an end in two weeks. Malaysian transport minister Liow Tiong Lai said it will conclude before the end of the month and will be followed by a meeting of officials once a final search report is made. A recent report released by Australian Transport Safety Bureau acknowledged a 'high probability' that the search is being carried out in the wrong area. "We cannot just base on assumptions, we need credible clues to look for the plane, so we are waiting for the final report," Liow said, giving no assurances a new, revised search area would be identified. The search of the 120,000 sq km area in the Southern Indian Ocean is 'in the final lap' and no debris or proof the jet entered the water in this area has been found. Numerous pieces of wreckage have been washed up in the Western Indian Ocean, several of which are thought to be either definitely or highly likely from the missing jet following analysis. Last week, a former US air crash investigator said a new privately funded search may begin led by plane maker Boeing. MH370 disappeared in 2014 with 239 passengers and crew on board en route to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur. This is very sad news indeed my heart goes out to all those family's who have lost their loved ones. |

| I have the utmost sympathy with the relatives of those lost, They would never give up the search if they genuinely didn't know what happened would they! They've given the illusion of searching for the best part of 3 years to satisfy the family and worlds media, knowing full well they would find nothing because they know the truth. Either the crash site isn't where they've searched or its been cleaned up already or there is the possibility it landed all along. The search should continue or the truth needs to comes out. Malaysia also need to answer why they did not respond appropriately (especially post 9. 11) to a passenger plane which had gone silent and was flying off a deviated and unauthorised flight path! For all they knew this was terrorism and the aircraft was destined for the side of a building! Why weren't jets sent to intercept and investigate? Had they done, we would know exactly what happened...Whether the aircraft was on fire, a ghost flight etc. Very suspicious...and then there is the lack of debris to consider! |

Hi sallyann good to know that you are still about. You have used two main words "Very suspicious and yes I think you will have everybody agree with you it still remains Very suspicious. It is not possible for 450tons of aircraft to just fall out of the sky and not find any evidence of what happened |
