Just got back from meeting up with bgbazz and his wife, we had a nice time chatting and seeing all of the extensive work that they have done to the property. I am sure we will meet up again when we are back from Pomorie in a couple of weeks.
We seem to be in a minority in this part of Bulgaria which I find a little strange as it is beautiful part of the country, with all of the mountain scenery and places to visit.
We did meet up with another couple a few years ago at the coast (willola) but they don,t seem to use the forum anymore.

We haven't met Bgbazz's wife or ridgeback yet, as we met at a part-way point when we collected the chickens. But I can say he made an impression on us, not least because of his kindness, and I wish we lived a bit nearer. (Though he might not!) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Good to hear of our members meeting up, sharing experiences and helping where possible.

Had a pleasant and interesting meeting with Mike and Tanya..looking forward to more in the future. Meeting with you and Dave was lovely Sara and I too wish we closer, geographically speaking. Very much looking forward to meeting Will in the next couple of weeks, when he comes back over..got a great r/c helicopter to show him! Maybe all this activity signals the end of the visitor drought.

Maybe we should start a campaign to let people know that there is another half of Bulgaria. At the moment we have a place in both halves, but if all goes to plan we will be selling the one by the sea, then when we come over in the future we will be among the beautiful mountains, protected from the extremes of weather, in the valley of the roses.
And yes the ridgeback and I became good friends, if she had got any closer she would have been sitting on my lap.

I'm popping up the street to visit with Mike and Tanya tomorrow morning and very much looking forward to seeing how other folk cope with the BG lifestyle..as well as seeing them again, of course! Got my brilliant little GoPro dash cam all set up to record everything..being a gentleman of leisure now means I can do the things I've always just dreamed about.
