| I can fully recommend Eclipse which is very central in VT just above the CBA/Bazaar complex. They have every kind of specialist dog and cat food plus a surgery attached. They also do house visits. Our dog loves them too even though they often have to visit for injections. I can also fully recommend Herbies dog kennels. Xera had as good a holiday as us and came back very happy and healthy. They also delivered her for us which is such a blessing as we have no car. We feed Xera on chicken necks and chicken livers boiled up with some rice. She will eat anything although not keen on any of the biscuits except the Darling brand. The heat does seem to affect apetite and she seems a bit fussier nowadays. Hope this info helps.
There are also two shops in the VT bazaar that have a good selection of animal food. One is small and the other quite large and also supply medications plus more expensive animal foods. Veliko Turnovo is well supplied with animal shops and vets. We are very lucky in this area. |

| Hello Mrs Eq - we have been busy today, but don't know we have been doing except sitting under the fan in the kitchen and trying to keep cool and just found your post. Our four dogs have turned their noses up at some of the dog food here, but not all of them at the same time. They all enjoy the dried dog food from the Penny store and it is only a stinker under 13 leva for 10 K's, so cheap enough and this is mixed with a modicom of their tinned dog food and the result is four happy dogs. As you know we have two bigun's and two smallun's and they are different breeds, but it is " Penny's" for them!! |

| I can't quite get my head around what you are feeding your dogs Eric, but a decent brand will cost you a lot more than that! A 15kg bag of adult, active breed, dog food should be costing you between 75 and 120 leva, per bag!
As my girl has aged, I have gone from the 'active' to the 'mature' category and slowed down a tiny bit, but she still looks great and has no health problems. Her coat looks great, her weight is exactly what it should be and she is as happy and alert as when she was a puppy. I could bore you all with videos of her playing in the snow last winter, or responding to me teasing her about a cat in the garden, but I won't.
She has no idea that she is actually a dog..a much loved four legged human, perhaps, but a very important part of our pack and we love her, as I'm sure that you love yours. |

| Once I've worked out a way to make the files smaller, I will put some up. At the moment, the shortest video is 104MB! |

I agree with you about the brand of dog food Barry, but whilst spending oodles of money on the property we find ourselves nowhere near the top rung of fortunes wheel. So at the moment they are eating the Penny brand and they are all young dogs, but as they get older I will have to rethink what brand of food we buy them. |

| A couple of hard boiled eggs, chopped up and mixed in with nuts will soon get them interested Sara.
We all send our love, by the way. |
