First topic message reminder :

At the beginning of November, I went to our local village post office and posted off 30+ Christmas cards to the UK.
I sent them early, as the previous year they didn't arrive until the New Year!
Our postmistress is lovely, and very helpful. I know she put stamps on them all. However, not one has reached its destination!
I then posted a birthday card about two weeks later, which duly arrived.
A friend from another village posted hers late November and they haven't arrived either!
Where are they all? None contained anything but a card.
Anyone else had this problem? Posting of Christmas Cards - Page 2 3135333095

I don't have that many either...to keep everything simple, I just write myself a card, pop downstairs and stick it in the mailbox and when the kids check the box next day..WooHoo! Cheap as well..maybe I was a Scot in a former life. Posting of Christmas Cards - Page 2 3367882216

We always drive into town to post letters but even then can take weeks. We have trouble with post both ways. I prefer to wait until hubby or someone is back in uk and then post letters or pick up cards etc. We have had letters arrive opened and things stolen both ways. We have argued with the postal service and they blame each other.

I received my Mother's Day card from my youngest son yesterday. It was posted three days before MD.
Did he really think it would arrive in time? Posting of Christmas Cards - Page 2 1865348797
