not like that in all areas tho,,,,,3 resturants local to me give you an ashtray when they bring you the menu .....

Same for some restaurants I go to it seems that it depends on the local mayor and police.

On a recent trip to Bg I found that there were ashtrays on tables in two Dobrich restaurants ::

Hope you enjoyed you trip Willow. So far the restruants in Silistra keep the smoking to the outside hoepfully it will stay that way.

SMOKING BAN TO COMMENCE - OCTOBER

From 1 October 2015, it will be illegal to smoke in any private vehicle wholly or partly enclosed by a roof with anyone under the age of 18 present in the vehicle. Intended to protect children and young people from the effects of second-hand smoke, both the driver and the smoker could be fined £50 by use of Fixed Penalty Notice. The legislation is applicable to every driver including 17 year olds and those on a provisional licence, but not if the driver is 17 and on their own in the vehicle, or in a convertible with the roof completely down.

SI 286/2015 - The Smoke-free (Private Vehicles) Regulations 2015 applies and were made under Chapter 1 of Part 1 of the Health Act 2006. Note - in addition to Local Authorities, police forces are included as an enforcement authority for these regulations
