| In the five years living here i have had numerous visitors..............spiders, beetles, crawlies of all description and a locust once, in the garden my visitors included sheep, cows,a donkey, dogs, cats, , all part of life in bulgaria ,,,,,BUT......... There is something in my cupboard, something has half eaten a jelly , this is a recent event (within 2 days) i went for my cornflakes and there was this mangled jelly. I am sounding rather lighthearted about this, but i want rid, like now. I can guess it is a field mouse, its so bitter cold outside, so maybe they want to come in. need suggestions please on how to deter it from my home. only invited guests can visit. | Ah bless, not so good news for you than. Unfortunately once they have found a way in the family will follow so you have to either put a trap in the cupboard or poison in the jelly. If you leave it any longer they will be onto your cornflakes in now time and worse still will be settled in the living room feet up watching day time TV [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] So shopping for traps tomorrow than |

| if you dont fancy traps, you could get a cat. most mice will leave once they smell a cat is there. |

| Natures wild life has many benefits.lt is free and no need to buy gadgets and no need for poisons either which can leave a horrible smell of dead bodies all over the place.A dead rat smells like a corpse infested with maggots. Can you imagine a dozen of these dead rotting bodies scattered everywhere around the house that have been poisoned.l try to avoid poisons and go for natures methods. But first l have to try and learn the art on how to catch snakes first before l can shove them up the loft. lt is definitely a rodent addicted to jelly.

| I would just try some traps and if your not happy with that ? then some poison but you may then have problems finding the rotting corpse. |

| We've got rats and mice where we store the grain for the animals. My little min dachshund is brilliant at catching them, but I think I'll need to get a few traps also. I don't mind the odd mouse (but not in the house) but draw the line at rats - they're disgusting. |
