I didn't go to work I'm not too well so I think I need to be off now for the week poor me

I didn't get up for work either I thought sod it for today I need a rest I'm sure they will manage 1 day without me and anyway life is to short to spend most of it working

I didn't go to work either but more importantly I didn't get up at 5.30 am

I didn't have a lay in I had to be up early for the man to look at my roof and guess what? I'm still waiting for him he should have been here at 7.30-8.00

I did not plan on my cess pit flooding. it is 30 months old and was emptied 10 weeks ago, thankfully its not backed up into the house, but do have an unexpected problem. guys coming to empty it tomorrow, then we need to find out what the problem is. Yuk.

I didn't go into work today I just felt a bit yuk so had most of the day in bed but at least when I got up I did manage to reply to a few letters

Felt a bit tired this morning, so didn't beat up the neighbours as usual, but did manage to kick the cat

Should have practiced my bagpipes today for St Andrews day on the 30th November - still the neighbours are happy!!

I should have taken the car for a winter service but I couldn't be bothered

How do you actually get into bagpipe playing? I imagine it's a lot more difficult to learn than a trumpet for example.

I owned a supermarket in the 1970's and one of my customers said she had two sets of bagpipes for sale. I thought I would hang a set in the lounge, but couldn't bring myself to put a nail through them. Since then I have been a member of the Epsom and District Pipe Band, played in various parts of the UK and had the pleasure of playing in the Lord Mayors Show. Will be playing for St Andrews Day, New Years Eve and Burns Night of course. Keeps my off the street corners!!!
