| From a traveling point of view yes Romania is much closer to Ruse than Vanna one hour from airport in Romania compaired to 3 hours to Varna

Beltsov is located 4 km from the municipal center Price. It is located on the right bank of the Yantra River, nearly 10 km from the mouth of her Beltsov is near Svishtov than to Rousse. Svishtov separate it from 36 kilometers, and to Rousse almost 60 km.
History
There are several versions about the origin of the name of the village Beltsov. Some believe that the village received its name thanks to an herb, it's called belizma. It is a rare plant, natural hallucinogen described in Bulgaria's Red Book of rare species of our flora and fauna. Nearby the village meadow, where it grows "
belizma"
or "
sweet herb"
as they call it the local people. This meadow is fenced to prevent them from entering herbivores. According to another version of the village is named after one of its founders - Belcho. He was mountaineers escaped from the Turks and all his family and settled along the river Yantra.
Religion
Eastern Orthodox Christianity is the religion of the natives. The village is one of the few cities of Ruse district, where there is no presence of minorities.
Public institutions
Community Center-Library Probuda is a public institution caring for the spiritual life in the village. It organizes the celebration of the most Christian holidays and customs peculiar to them - at Christmas, expel evil spirits from the houses by using brazai - are local mummers;
Lazaruvane and others.

| Apart from what's here there is very little information about this village considering its location and the interest it seem to attract from people who go fishing, I would think the best thing to do is when your over there is to have a good look round and do the same with anyother place you may have an interest in  |

| theres 3 pubs 2 are shops as well &
theres another 2 shops a doctors 'kindergarden' school' theatre/community centre/library &
'church its lovely inside but needs a new dome for its roof it got struck by lightning 2 years ago everyone in the village has payed a bit towards its repairs &
it should be getting fixed this year' |
