Here's a snippet from a recent article looking at trends in searches for overseas property:

"
Ann Wright, adds: “The case of Australia is not especially surprising given the current economic climate. The distance from the UK is a stumbling block for many consumers, being so much further away even than other supposedly long-haul destinations such as the USA. Furthermore, Australia may be suffering given the potential for growth within the EU as newer member states become fully integrated. This is supported by the fact that ninth-placed Bulgaria, with 22%, recorded the highest monthly increase of any member of the top ten."

Very good news that Bulgaria has the highest increase in people searching for property last month! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

This on the face of it Chris can only be good news [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] but tell me, as you work with the media how much of it can we take as being useful I read so much about the property market in Bulgaria and the rest of Europe to be honest its very confusing and they all seem to say something different so for buyers it can be a bit of a mine field

To be honest, what we're receiving in press releases and other stuff indicates a slight 'pick up' in things.

I'm not sure it will be an instant thing, but I really believe that markets (not just property, etc.) are starting to move a little bit.

This could be a great sign for next year and I imagine that's when things will take off again (don't quote me, I'm not a financial expert!) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
