| that is good news, bulgaria in the north east has some lovely beaches, dont want to muddy the waters, but the major problem on the beaches is that it is dominated by companies that own sunbeds and brollies and cover all the beach with their wares, charging a lot of money for them. ( over the top ) so a 2 week stay with sunbed and brolly would cost on average. sunbed 5 lev brolly 7 levs = 12 lev per day. = 168 lev for 2 week holiday, a family of 4 would be 672 levs, an extra 300 pounds. and they do this in the hotels too. so unless your prepared to pay this you have to find a spot at the back with your blanket and enjoy without paying all the time. coupled with the poor finished pavements which are dangerous, and the surrounding entertainment consists of bars bars and bars, little entertainment for children who have moved on from a chicken egg machine, bulgaria needs to wake up to what holiday makers need and want. open the door to the entertainment facilties offered by other countries and meet the needs of the people. instead of going for the quick buck which is what they do here, and is their downfall, give value for money and they cannot go wrong because like you said at the start there is so much to offer here, so much beauty and so much that it unspoilt its a shame that they go for the rip off which only puts you off. bulgaria has it all, but is not making full use of what its got to offer. such a shame. but a lovely country that i like living here. on a commercial view got to get it better. it has so much history and beauty why spoil it by overcharging and restricting outside entertainment companies that could do bulgaria a favour. |
