Hi Folks

Does anyone know of any company that offers mechanical Breakdown cover throughout Europe for non-UK residents?

Been trawling the usual sites today (AA, RAC, Green Card, Churchill, etc.), but they will only provide this for UK residents with a UK registered vehicle.

Yes, but not the way I expected to (as usual)!

I telephoned my old Insurance Company in France and explained the problem. They sent me the documents to print off within an hour and provided me a four week full EU breakdown and recovery service [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Fortunately, our holiday went without a hitch and we never needed it, however, it was certainly good to have the piece of mind.

Has anyone recently taken out EU breakdown cover with a BG company? Thanks Ian

I use ADAC [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (let translate do it's job, unless you speak German of course) for my European breakdown cover, you don't have to resident in Germany to join either. The benefits are the best i could find and was the cheapest to boot.
