This year’s October forecast to be comparatively warm and dry


This year’s October is forecast to be comparatively balmy and dry, says Gergana Kozinarova with National Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology .

The average monthly temperature will be above the normal one and rainfall – below the normal figures. The lowest temperatures are forecast to be between 1°C and 6°C and the highest one – between 24°C and 29°C.
The first autumn frost in most valleys is expected at the end of October.
It will be mainly sunny in the first ten days of the month with minimum temperatures between 6°C and 11°C and maximum ones – between 22°C and 27°C. Cloudiness and lower temperatures are forecast for October 7-8.
Higher temperatures and a dry spell are forecast between October 11 and 20. Around October 13 showers of rain are more likely.
After October 23 rain is more likely.
