Well what a big heap of S**t this is sorry khan1 but if this is how you judge people you must be very shallow all I say is never believe anything you read on the net unless you have personal experience |

Please give us an example of how the 'above' methods can possibly beat a face to face meeting? You advocate these 'internet' methods yet hide behind a 'username' and no real avatar or introduction here? Would I 'trust' you? No. Simple and that's prior to a face to face meeting. |

Whatever you do, don't trust anything you read on Google. Regards, C. |

| Yep feel the same Chris
Seems like those that have the strong opinions hide and do not show their faces
Would you trust someone that uses strange user names as well. These there are many not just on here but on other forums as well. Some of the names are really funny though as are the avatars. But this has been voiced before in other topics.
Question.
What is the Oxford dictionary meaning of the word trust? |

| As ever on forums interesting opinions, life would be so boring if we all thought the same. |

| I don't trust anyone in this country or any other country anymore, but I give everyone a chance to prove me wrong. but I keep my hand on my wallet. Mostly everyone is after your money or connections, Not always bad if they are in business, as this can be helpful to both parties. With a few exceptions I don't visit peoples houses and I don't invite people to my house any more. I have done all the personal house visiting routine, and been to weddings and parties and all of the Bulgarian gatherings and holidays at least once at some stage. I enjoyed most, but I have done it and it's all too much trouble to us now. I still keep a few people in work on my house projects so I interact everyday with locals, all owe me money after helping with hospital bills, house debt problems etc. and are paying us it back this way. I have no enemies that I know of. but I hold a tight reign on all work people now, and I get respected for it as opposed to being treated like a soft touch, which I was for the first 2 years. Hence the money I am still owed! It's not a perfect philosophy I know, but it is not easy over here, and if you don't look out for yourself no-one else will. |

Life would also be very sad if we relied on google and what others had to say |

| Oh dear me!! this is a good discussion but I to would like to add that to trust what you find on the Internet or other forums would be extremely foolish for anyone as already said as an example would you believe all you read on " face book" about a person ? no you wouldn't unless you had completely lost the plot !! would you believe what you read on the forums about other people No!! you wouldn't and I could go on there are many on the forums who have grudges to bear and then there are those who's only goal in life is to destroy the lives of others, I would think very hard and long if I were you khan1 if this is where you get most of your information from about others and who you trust this can only make you look very silly indeed |

| Well i would just like to add to this topic,in my experience you make friends with someone and after time trust comes into it,but if your talking about business its the same as the UK all people in business want your money, thats what they do,but its up to the individual to make sure you get value for your money,i have always used people by recommendation, its worked for me
