Die Abendzeitung: Bulgaria remains in the grip of corruption

Research shows that since 2011 in the poorest country of the Community vicious practice again yield menacing proportions.
Over the past five years, corruption in public administration in Bulgaria has reached levels that are typical candidates for the EU as Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia, the peak of the vicious practice in 2014. Not much better situation in the economy: in 2015 approximately 18% of companies reported that their corruption pressure by government officials.
Parliament in Sofia decided last week on first reading in the Balkan country to establish a body to combat corruption modeled on Romania. Efforts to fight corruption have not abated, confirmed on Monday Deputy Prime Minister Rumiana Bachvarova. "But corruption environment is growing faster, on which public institutions can not resist," said the minister.
