Since I have been officially banned from this forum by which ever MOD decided I was inappropriate member and made me Person Non Grata,  I would just like to thank those members whose brains I have picked and for the information gained prior to moving here.

As to the person who banned me if you can ever find it in yourself to offer me an explanation as to why I would be interested but I will not hold my breath.

Anyway I have circumnavigated your block on I presume my Bulgarian IP address (not that I know much about these things) by accessing the site whilst in the U.K,  so I would suggest you block that as well now as I would hate to think you have left a gateway open for me to access this forum!!

Adios,  I have to pack for my return flight!

Well, I don't recall it happening when I was a mod...in fact, I can only remember one silly sod being banned...and he thoroughly deserved it.

I have just contracted you regarding trev62 being banned from this forum. It is the ISP that has been blocked. I am in England at the moment and can access it but my partner still says that it is blocked what is the reason for this I wonder

So you were never banned by anyone which I stated so why you feel the need to post that you have I do not understand? perhaps there has been other developments I am not aware of ? if so then let me know here, furthermore if you were banned you would not get onto the from any country, as I said I need to look into this which I have and I am still waiting for the Host Co to get back to me.

Seems to me someone has got the wrong end of the stick here from the transcript above it's obvious you haven't been banned [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and as [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] hinted at banning is always a last option with Ashley, so unless you did something terrible it's safe to say your not banned.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Knowing Admin as we do if he was banned then he would have had several warnings first so Trev62 would have known why he was banned but as we all know from what Admin has said he wasn't/isn't banned. Only his Ip for some reason was banned which could be any of a million reasons knowing how Ip's work.

I have this problem with a few sites when in Bulgaria, my ip address is fraudulent....(glbal internet/telnor) it is banned from a lot of forums, i have no problem with this one , but i cant use any rc aircraft ones, my own online shops i can look at the sites but not log in to see orders and if i send emails through my oneandone webmail service they only go to the spam folder no matter who they are to if they get there at all.

I have been told that Bulgaria is now listed as an internet and software fraud hotspot so many ips from Bulgaria are banned internationaly

I guess you can't please everyone Ashley but you have done a fine job for many years.

yep ... a lot of websites wont tale our credit/ debit cards anymore because of the IP

I agree with what you say VG...I've never had a credit card, but I do have a debit card linked to a savings account with a healthy balance... I can't buy off the internet using Paypal or any other method, so we usually go without!

Cash or card at the point of sale is my only option and it has never caused me any problems here in BG....strange that it is accepted here in Bulgaria, either at the ATM or at the cashiers desk in all of the stores I shop in.

Let me give you all an example...

Two years ago my wife and daughter wanted to fly to Canada to visit with family members who live there. In a moment of weakness I decided to foot the bill and tried to book and pay for all the flights etc. Not one of the companies I tried would accept payment for their services when I tried to use that card. I ended up going to a local travel agent and had it all handled through their office...paid for using the card that the others rejected (happily, it was a bit cheaper)! I had used that card in some other countries, including Australia, South Africa, Germany, Switzerland and the UK, both for purchases online and at ATMs for cash withdrawals. The best bit is yet to come...I gave my card and pin number to my wife, before her trip and asked her to try and use it....just for interests sake. She was able to withdraw cash from an ATM, she was able to use it in a number of stores (never had a rejection) and even was able to buy some stuff off Ebay using Paypal!!!

Something is very smelly here.
