reading the news of Snow everywhere
can i please have photos of sum of the villages as i have been told that i could be snowed in for upto 6 weeks, so please any pictures would be great.

ideally in the popovo area even VT
please e-mail me if they are good also anybody know if i need to buy an extra set of tryes for winter with studs in?

All roads, including side roads (tracks) ploughed by 8am.

Nice pictures Oddy. I have been to the Silistra orphanage and met Oddball there in 2011 I think ,nice bunch of kids :-).
Paddy I take it you have a 4x4 for driving in the snow? If not I don't think studded tyres will help to much.

Here is a couple but don't worry about being trapped the Bulgarians know what to do when its real bad very unlike the British who always moan when there is a few snow flurry's

i have a Volvo xc90 which i use all the time on the isle of man, if i move permenant to bulgaria still have not as yet desidered, i could just say kids your old enough fend for yourselves.
looking at the pictures so far i think the 4x4 is the answer and i will be wanting to buy one for my home when i sort it out.

will be bringing a lwb merc sprinter left hand drive with me later in the year are you looking for equipement and or cloths etc from the UK think i could carrry 2 full pallets of items if you need something, also will be bringing a bathroom as it looks like people just love to have an out house and these pictures say alot about an inside bathroom.
