| Sounds like mulberries to me. Or chernitsa in Bulgarian. The animals love the fruit and the leaves. |

| Normally yellowing leaves are a nutrient deficiency, not that usual with grape vines though unless growing in a pot, with the other leaves wilting as well it could be too wet, its difficult to tell without actually looking at the plant
But on the leaves , underneath , they look white ,are they always that white, Ive never noticed any of mine being that white on the ones I have in the UK or the ones in Bulgaria, does the white wipe off? , if so it could be some type of mildew, if so spray with copper fungicide, or dust with sulfur powder
I have just had a vine in a pot die from downy mildew, it wilted like that and I ignored it, thinking it was just unhappy with the cold so didnt spray it |

| hi will 666, just been to look at the leaves, the dark green leaves are pale green underneath and the yellowing leaves are white underneath. means nothing at all to me. | you definately need to spray these vines cut off all the white leaves and burn them spray and all should be well. The grapes shown on your vine look very small for this time of year so water these vines they need plenty to swell the fruit |

| Everyone has been giving good advice..I will just add a bit. Sodiummetabisulphite is the spray to get rid of powdery mildew ( most mildews, in fact). A bit of extra water won't go astray either, particularly if you add some liquid fertilizer..these bunches should have about five times more little grapes on them ..and they should be bigger! Mine are between 8-10 inches long and have between 55-60 grapes forming, as we speak.
As scunnered has mentioned, these sound like mulberries and I have about 20 of these trees growing along my garden fence. If left unpicked, they will make the biggest mess you can imagine! And your blackbird population will be very happy! However, they do have their uses..silkworms , which are very common here, will produce the best pink silk, if fed on the leaves..the fruit makes a lovely jam, just remember to pass the liquid jam through a fine kitchen strainer before bottling, to get rid of the little, annoying seeds. I grew up enjoying stewed mulberries and custard for desert and still love them to this day. If you are the adventurous type, have a go at making some wine from them. |
