Oh all the jabs/certs/chip etc are not a problem at all and all the vets here are either Aussies or Brits. The issue is that countries have different policies about how animals are allowed in - some will only allow the animal to arrive as cargo (not the same as checking it into the hold when you fly) which means you need to use a freight forwarder in order to gain clearance. I just imported a pet from the EU to here and whilst the airline the animal flew on permitted animals to travel in the cabin or be checked into the hold as additional baggage, country regulation didn't permit the animal to arrive that way. The difference meant instead of paying around 40 Euro we had to pay just shy of 2,500 Euro!
Maybe I'll contact one of the airlines and see what's what.
