Terrible explosion. I was reading this earlier on the BBC.

Terrible indeed and my thoughts go out to all families concerned,so many innocent people.

A terrorist attack of such magnitude. Are politics the route of all evil. My heart goes out to the victim's families. Arriving at the airport on a beautiful warm sunny day for probably what was going to be a holiday of a lifetime at Sunny Beach. What a tragedy, and such a blow on the tourism industry and to Bulgaria itself

Interpol experts to probe into Burgas airport blast

The Interpol is sending a group of experts to Bulgaria to investigate Wednesday’s terrorist attack at Burgas airport. Seven people died in the blast, including five Israeli nationals.
The team of international police experts will arrive in Bulgaria at the request of Bulgarian authorities. Local police feel that the bomb was set off by the suicide bomber whose fake driving licence, made out in the name of a US citizen, has been found at the scene of the tragedy. Bulgarian forensic experts have determined the suspect’s DNA structure. Also, the dead man’s fingerprints have been sent to US and Israeli forensic experts

Burgas. A commemorative ceremony in memory of the terrorist attack victims is taking place at Sarafovo Airport, FOCUS – Burgas Radio reported.
Before the ceremony Israeli Minister of Tourism Stas Misezhnikov and the delegation he heads, Israeli ambassador to Bulgaria Shaul Camisa Raz, Bulgarian Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Delyan Dobrev, Burgas Mayor Dimitar Nikolov, district governor Konstantin Grebenarov, and chief secretary of the Interior Ministry Kalin Georgiev visited the place where the bus carrying Israeli tourists blasted last Wednesday.
The officials laid wreaths and flowers on the zebra crossing close to the site of the terrorist attack. After that there was a minute of silence and the anthems of Israel and Bulgaria were played in memory of the five Israeli tourists and Bulgarian bus driver who were killed in the attack.

A Bulgarian expert has stated that the terrorist who killed five Israeli tourists and a Bulgarian bus driver in a deadly attack last year was not a suicide bomber.

Bulgarian investigator Georgi Iliev has told Nova TV that the perpetrator of the attack would have left his backpack in the luggage compartment of the bus if the attack had been planned as a suicide bombing.

Iliev, who spoke after Friday’s reenactment of the Burgas bus bombing, was positive that the deadly bomb was remotely detonated.

Europol experts were present at the first ever reenactment of a terror attack in Bulgaria, which was held on Friday under maximum security near the Trakiya highway, mid-way between the capital Sofia and the second largest city of Plovdiv.

On February 5, 2013, following a meeting of the Consultative Council for National Security at the President's Office, then-Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov made a statement, saying that the investigating authorities had gathered evidence pointing to a "
reasonable assumption"
about the involvement of Hezbollah's military wing in the Burgas bus bombing
