| Two of my puppies have environmental allergies and are allergic to fleas and ticks. They are perminantly on antihistermines and go completely bald and sore if anything they are allergic to touches them. Now its the start of flea season i need something to treat them with. We have recently added front line to the never ending no go list, so im looking for other suggestions people have found work as most of the ones we tried last year didnt kill a thing. Thinking caps on please. |

| That's a shame about 'frontline' because it's among the best you can get. My Basenjis and my Ridgeback have used this product for years, with no ill effects or reactions. There used to be a coal tar soap which was very good, but for the life of me, I can't remember the name at the moment. It has a very pleasant smell and fleas etc would usually stay away in droves..very gentle on sensitive doggie skin as well.
As soon as I recall the brand name, I'll post it here. |

| We use diatomaceous earth on all our animals. It is a natural product made from fossil remains. It comes in a powder form and I always bring some back from the UK. It can be used on any animal, we use it on the hens as well and also sprinkle it on the roosts. Good too for aphids on plants, in fact on any creepy crawly. Totally harmless to our four and two legged friends! Google it and see! |

| I used Garlic for my dogs. It was recommended by a friend to me who worked in the dog section. One clove in with the food per day, helps there health overall. Just have to watch out for the side effects..... they start barking in French. Ray |

Ray Never bothered our German Shepherd ... she was French! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Shame about Frontline, that always did the trick for us. |

| Neem oil works, works great on dogs, cats and on plants as an insectacide , works as a flea and tick killer and repellant theres loads of people using it , ive used it on dogs and plants for about 15 years more info here, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]My old dog was allergic to fleas and other things , frontline didnt work, a better product killed more fleas and mites was stronghold , we used this before we found the neem oil if you want a vet product its worth trying this one, but I would use neem |

| I forgot to mention, it has to be Listerine as it is the ingredients in it that work |
