Plus stores opening 25 hypermarkets in Bulgaria every year
The German fast moving consumer goods chain Plus opened its first six stores in Bulgaria at the same time. They are in Pernik, Gorna Oriahovitsa, Sevlievo - 2 stores, Harmanli and Silistra.
They are a part of the company investments amounting to BGN 150m by now.
By the year end will open 19 supermarkets in Lukovit, Vratsa, Radnevo, Pazardzhik, sofia, Provadia, Levski, Vidin, Burgas, Razlog, Kozloduy, Panagyurishte, Targovishte, Pavlikeni, Gotse Delchev, Dimitrovgrad the investment reaching BGN 210m.
The company already owns 70 building lots bought in the period 2006 - 2007. The stores average area is 1,000 - 1,200 sq. m.
The overall investment is expected to reach BGN 600m with the number of staff reaching 2,600.
Five of the sties are in Sofia, the first supermarket in the capital city will be in Lyulin neighbourhood.
