NIKI Launches 3 Sofia-Vienna Flights Daily

Low-cost airline NIKI, also known as FlyNIKI, has launched a new daily flight from Bulgaria's capital Sofia to Vienna.

Thus, NIKI is already offering three Sofia-Vienna and three Vienna-Sofia flights daily, which, according to the company, are at more convenient hours for both tourists and business travellers.

NIKI's policies for trying out more flexible quality services have are yielding results, the company said in a statement, pointing out that it has been selected as "
The Best Low-cost Airline"
by the readers of "

NIKI also emphasizes its special services for children, on-line check-in both passengers and baggage, a special menu, and a price-quality ratio have given it an edge vis-a-vis its competitors.

NIKI is launching its third daily Sofia-Vienna flight a year after it increased its daily flights between the two destinations from one to two. Read below

The Austrian low-cost air company Flyniki announced the launch of a second flight between Sofia and Vienna during the weekdays.

FlyNiki, whose owner is former Formula 1 world champion Niki Lauda, explained it will operate morning and evening flights during the week, with one connection per day on Saturdays and Sundays.

Ticket prices to Vienna start from EUR 69.11 for a return ticket, including taxes.

Flyniki started flying to Sofia in February. From Vienna passengers may switch to other destinations – including Munich, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Paris and Zürich - benefiting from the network of FlyNiki and its partner Air Berlin.

FlyNiki is an airline owned and run by Niki Lauda. After being ousted from Lauda Air by boardroom politics in November 2000, in late 2003 Niki Lauda bought some planes from a German airline that had gone bankrupt and started FlyNiki.

It operates as a budget airline mainly from Germany and Austria.
