my parents are moving over to bulgaria hopefully in november or febuary depending on the weather and want to take approximately a transit van's worth of personnal posessions. could anyone advise on cost etc of haulage, or recommend a reliable person/ company to approach?

There is someone on here who does this sort of thing but I can't remember who it was ? this isn't a recommendation either as I have never used him. Good luck

A friend of mine used Allied pickfords for a small load very reasonable and reliable too

Hi, we moved over in April and arranged for some of our things to be transported.
The cost then was £100 cu metre. I guess it may be slightly more now.
Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend the person who took our stuff - none too
careful at the Bulgarian end. We weren't there to supervise!
I think there may be a couple of forum members who do the transport, but don't know their
costs. I'm sure someone will be in touch with you!
