A foreign tourist was being treated in hospital for serious head and other injuries after falling from the sixth floor of a hotel in Bulgaria’s Black Sea resort of Golden Sands (Златни пясъци), television station bTV said on August 2 2011.
The tourist was estimated to be 18 years old and was thought to be German, according to the report.
It was suspected that the youth had been drinking, bTV said.
This is the third similar incident in recent days. Towards the end of July, a 41-year-old Polish tourist died after falling from the balcony of a house in Obzor on the Black Sea coast.
In a separate incident, a British 17-year-old died after falling from a fourth-floor balcony at a hotel in Sunny Beach. Media reports said that the teenager had been sleeping on the balcony and had fallen from it.
