Agriculture Minister: No infected cucumbers imported from Spain to Bulgaria

The Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture and Food announced in an official statement on May 31 2011 that no cucumbers had been imported to Bulgaria from Spain.
Minister Miroslav Naidenov said that there were no E.coli-infected cucumbers in Bulgaria and that samples had tested negative for the contamination.
"
Bulgarian cucumbers are clean and I advise Bulgarian consumers to buy them. Wash them thoroughly and peel them,"
Naidenov said.
He added that there is a planned meeting of the European consumer protection committee on May 31 2011.
So our Shopska salad will be OK then
