Does anyone know if you can buy a sage plant in Bulgaria,my wife is nagging me,or even can you buy dried sage,if you can where from and whats the Bulgarian name

You can buy dried sage from me, Mike. I've got about 20 jars right now:

you can get sage plants and do they smell. i got mine from a neighbour but probably the garden center will have them.

Hi Mick if you go into Yambol and past the Mercury hotel on your left and continue along that road till you come to the Bazaar on your right there is a road on the left its kind of a 3 way junction I think its the one in the middle? if you go a short way down that road on the left there is a shop that looks more like a house with a sign outside and in there you can but all sorts of spices and herbs the guy in there imports and exports all round the world, I'm sure you should find Sage there Sage 1430720830

Hi Mike,

I can either post or courier. We're not in the shop yet, but I'll get the prices and weights a little later. You'll get discounts if you order a few! If I courier them, you'll get them next day or max the day after that. Otherwise, I think post would be marginally cheaper, but could take a week.

Mike you should be able to find Sage in Yambol maybe where Nets told you but I know its available in Bulgaria

Just as an aside ... I've had lots of herbs and spices from George at British Lion ... and whether they were sent by courier, or sent via the post office, all have arrived in good time, in perfect condition and at a reasonable delivery cost.

You can buy sage seeds here in Bulgaria. Planning to grow some this year in my herb garden.

We (Sue) spent the best part of 3 years looking for sage in and around Provadiya.
A friend who is a chef on his first visit to our place said to Sue, "
Wow! Keep those two huge sage plants going. You're lucky, fresh sage as and when you want it."

We'd planted these bushes as straggly little things from the local plant center when we 1st arrived. They are thriving!
