Sinking a well

Anyone have an idea on the approx cost of sinking a well in the garden?

A friend of mine just had a bore hole done that cost him 3000 lev if thats any help

Sorry if this is a dumb question but what is the connection between a bore hole and sinking a well sorry if its a stupid question :Hair:

I just assume they want a well for water,a bore hole is the best way to go as the hole is much deeper and quality of water is much better

I was quoted 2,500 leva for a well in Krapets, but I believe the water table is pretty high there.

We had a well bored through clay 1 metre diameter 10 metres deep which cost 1200 lev and included the concrete ring liners.

We use the water for the house and there has been plenty of it - the water level is normally about 5-6 metres below ground level and has remained pretty constant.

Sorry, I meant there's at least 6 metres of water in the well at any time.
