We hope that everyone has had quite a smooth move, although we all know moving is very traumatic.
On the sale of our property we shall be bringing personnel things like ornaments photos clothes a few books and other bits and bobs.
Also we have a few electrical items TV hoovers toaster surround system, and DIY tools microwave, oil filled radiators ect.
Has anyone moving from Turkey had any problems when taking electrical goods over with them.
Any help on this matter would help us and also be of interest to others.

Not too sure but I think because Turkey isn't a member state you may have some costs to pay particularly vat and maybe import tax ? I'm not sure so maybe someone with more knowledge can help good luck with your move though

I think Brian is right you can move most things across but I do believe you will have to either show that you have paid the tax on the items or if not you may have to pay it at the boarder? its a difficult one to answer with a none member state

I sold my apt in Altinkum last May...had no problems at all bringing the household items back over to BG by car.
