He is the eldest son of our local Post Mistress and he is taking time out to hitchhike around the world on a budget of 4,000euros. All the information is on his website together with a beautiful slide show of his photographs. He is at present in Buenos Aires. We watched him leaving and receiving a blessing from the Papa and appeared on the Bulgarian news. I think he is very brave and I wish him much good luck. It should be a journey of a lifetime for him. Thank you for the replies. I had an email from him today which was a great surprise. He apologises that the site is not in English yet. I presume he means his diary because there is a flag on the opening page which translates it to English and then for the emails sent him Google translated. Whatever, I am so pleased that he picked up my email using the address on his website and even it you can't get it in English now, it is worth having a look for the photos alone. I am sure an email from people wishing him well will give him the courage he needs to keep going.
