First topic message reminder :

Hiya Guys I just had this sent to me from BRE in Yambol Bg, I just thought it may be of interest to anyone who is thinking of going to Bg soon

Good Opportunity to Re-register your Company

We would like to inform all of our clients that Wizz Air are offering return

flights from London Luton to Burgas airport from just 68 pounds,

during the months of October and November and with this in mind it may

be the perfect time to come to Bulgaria and re-register your Company

which must be done by December 2010.

Best regards

Karen Penny

It comes at a time when airlines are making more than ever from add-ons, such as baggage fees and charges for paying by credit card.
A study by travel firm CarTrawler of ‘ancillary’ revenue, covering all income beyond the air fare, found the top ten carriers – including Ryanair and Easyjet – made £21.5billion in extras last year, up from £1.6billion in 2007. Ryanair’s priority boarding starts at £5 per person per flight.

Charging more to use a credit or debit card will become illegal from 13 January 2018. But that leaves lots of unanswered questions. Will prices go up to compensate? Will minimum charges for using a card in pubs or shops also be against the rules? Here are some of the answers:

What businesses will be affected?
The directive - known as the Payment Services Directive (PSD2) - will make it illegal for any business to charge extra for using a debit or credit card in the EU. The worst offenders at the moment tend to be airlines, theatre and concert booking sites, take-away food apps, local councils, HMRC and the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA). All will have to change their payment policies.

And then we would land in the middle of the night, so that is another 20euro each way to the car hire company for an out of hours contract Wizz Air/Swizz Air - Page 24 794030042

Just checked and yes stupid O'clock 2.55am to arrive in Varna. Yes indeed extra charges for car hire and no point in getting a hotel for a few hours, Really would not like to be hanging around Varna airport either. WizzAir Stops Most of its Flights from Bulgaria to the UK
Business | September 24, 2017, Sunday // 11:43| views

Big portion of the flights of the low-cost airline WizzAir from Bulgaria to the UK will be suspended from the beginning of November, BNR reported.

The airline stops flying from Sofia to Birmingham, Bristol and Doncaster / Sheffield. This comes into force on 6 November.
WizzAir reported that the interest in these destinations did not meet their expectations and, as a result, it was decided to stop part of the flights from Bulgaria to the UK.

After November 6, WizzAir will continue to operate flights from Sofia to only one destination in the UK - Luton Airport in London, the BNR added.
